Hi, I'm Sawyr. I've been making music for a few years under different names before finally settling on Sawyr. I love cats; Tiger, my late cat, was deeply influential on me and helped me see my way through an adolescence that I didn't think I'd make it through. Currently, I have three cats--Delilah, Apollo, and Enoch. They, alongside my loving spouse, are some of the sweetest creatures I've ever met in my life, and I feel very lucky to have them around every day.

I sometimes make collages (a habit which started with the release of Commercial Break). The below was inspired by a haiku by Joel "Furniture" Huschle in his book False Memories of a Cape Cod Clam Shack and is titled Real Pictures of God.
